REST API limits
Soniox applies limits to Text-to-Speech REST API requests to ensure stability and fair use. Ensure your application handles these constraints and recovers gracefully when a limit is reached.
You can request higher limits (except for audio duration) in the Soniox Console.

| Requests per minute | 100 | Exceeding this may result in rate limiting. |
| Concurrent requests | 3 | Maximum number of simultaneous active HTTP requests. |
| Audio duration | 2 minutes | Generated audio duration is capped at 2 minutes. This limit is fixed and cannot be increased. |
