Privacy and Security#
Soniox’s platform meets one of the highest certification standards to help reduce compliance burdens for your business and keep your data private and secure.
Logging#
We do not store any of your audio or transcript data, except in the services where you explicitly request us to do so, or storing data is core functionality of the service. In such cases, the data is privately and securely stored in Soniox Cloud in an isolated namespace for your Soniox Account. You can delete all the stored audio and transcript data at any time. None of the audio or transcript data (stored or unstored) is used to improve our services.
We do store the information that is required to track the API usage and logs. You have access to all the API usage and logs in Soniox Console.
Encryption#
All communication with Soniox Cloud is encrypted with TLS to prevent malicious access to your private data. When creating
a Client
object, a secure client-server connection is automatically established, which is then used to transfer all of
the data between your application and Soniox Cloud.
Compliances#
Soniox is SOC 2 Type 2, GDPR and HIPAA certified. We maintain and meet the requirements for these data privacy compliance frameworks and certifications.
