API frameworks

We offer two different APIs - gRPC and WebSocket.

For most use cases, the gRPC API is recommended. The WebSocket API is available as an option to simplify integration and for use from a web client.

This is the main Soniox API and provides all features.

Web library API reference

Soniox Web library is based around the RecordTranscribe class, which represents a session of integrated audio recording and transcription.

gRPC

Soniox provides a gRPC-based API for the entire Soniox Speech Recognition service.
